About Truform

Truform exists to rethink how things are made, not just to innovate, but to address the inefficiencies and waste embedded in traditional manufacturing. We produce only what’s needed, when it’s needed, locally and with lower impact.

Every project is managed end-to-end by Truform, with secure data handling, controlled access to design data, and a single point of accountability throughout.

Our Story

“After 22 years in manufacturing, I saw how much waste we normalised, how fragile global supply chains had become, and how often design was constrained by outdated production methods. Truform is our answer to that.”
Ian Scutt, Truform Founder

Truform was founded to challenge the waste and rigidity embedded in traditional manufacturing systems, where overproduction creates deadstock, conventional tooling slows innovation, and global supply chains introduce cost, risk, and delay.

These systems were not designed for today’s demand patterns.

That’s why we created Truform; a more responsible, flexible, and circular production model. Our on-demand approach enables organisations to produce exactly what they need, when they need it. The result? A production system that is leaner, faster, and more responsive to real-world demand.

Our Approach

Circular by Design: What if Making Things Didn’t Cost the Earth?

Manufacturing carries real environmental and operational costs. Overproduction, long transport routes, excess inventory, and material inefficiencies remain common across many supply chains. At a global level, the industrial sector represents a significant share of energy use and emissions, reinforcing the importance of more efficient production models.

At Truform, we approach production differently. By manufacturing on demand and placing production closer to where parts are needed, we reduce excess inventory, minimise transport, and simplify supply chains.

Our circular approach begins at the design stage. Additive manufacturing allows for intelligent geometry and material efficiency that traditional processes often restrict.

Where appropriate, we prioritise recycled or low-impact materials, without compromising strength, precision, or performance. It’s a simpler, smarter way to make. One that respects both performance requirements and environmental responsibility.

Who We Serve

We work with teams that value sustainability, transparency, and innovation. Teams that see manufacturing not just as a necessity, but as an opportunity to do better. They care deeply about how their products are made, what materials are used, and the impact they leave behind.

Together, we explore better ways of building; balancing performance, ethics, and innovation at every stage.

“We build partnerships on trust, shared purpose, and high standards.”

How We Deliver

Truform takes full responsibility for every project we deliver. Where appropriate, we collaborate with carefully selected specialist additive manufacturing providers to ensure the right process, material, and capability are applied to each application. This approach gives our customers flexibility without compromising accountability.

All production is coordinated by Truform, with secure handling of design data and clear oversight from concept through to delivery. The result is manufacturing that is resilient, responsive, and managed with intention.
